Manage Staff profiles

Keep your team list accurate by updating roles, contact details or removing profiles whenever things change.

  • At least one staff member already invited

Step-by-step

Mobile App (Owner/Manager)

  1. Open the staff list
    Go to Dashboard › Staff. Use the store drop-down at the top if you
    manage multiple locations.

  2. View a profile
    Tap any team member to open their Staff profile screen, which shows
    role tabs, current store assignment and contact details.

  3. Edit names or note

    • Tap First Name, Last Name or Note to make the field
      editable and bring up the keyboard.

    • Enter new text and tap Done in the top-right corner to save.
      Empty or invalid entries trigger an inline error.

  4. Re-assign to another store

    • Tap the Currently assigned drop-down.

    • Select a new store and tap Done.

    • If the staff member has active orders, an alert blocks the move; tap
      Got it to stay on the profile.

  5. Change role

    • Tap Staff, Manager or Owner tab.

    • Confirm the warning (“This may affect the user’s permissions”) to
      apply the new role, or Cancel to keep the current one.

  6. Remove from shop

    • Tap Remove from shop (Only works on web dashboard - Dashboard › Staff)

    • If the user has active orders, removal is blocked with an alert.

    • Otherwise confirm “Are you sure…? This action cannot be undone” to
      delete the profile and return to the staff list.

Web Dashboard (Back Office)

  1. Open the Staff page
    Log in to the admin dashboard and choose Staff from the side menu.
    Search or sort by Name, Role or Reviews to locate the person.

  2. Edit information

    • Click a staff card to open the profile page, then Edit in the
      Information section.

    • Update Full Name, Role or phone/email (where allowed) and
      hit Save changes. Blank or invalid fields show inline errors.

    • Changing role prompts the same permission warning as mobile.

  3. Delete profile
    Click Delete profile and confirm. If the member has active orders,
    a blocking message prevents deletion until those orders are closed.

Troubleshooting

  • I don’t see Delete or Remove buttons – Only Owners can delete any
    profile; Managers can delete their own or the Owner’s profile. Staff
    cannot delete profiles at all.

  • “This staff member has active orders” – Wait until all assigned
    orders are completed or reassigned before removing the profile.

  • Cannot tap Done / Save Changes – A required field is empty or fails
    validation (e.g., name shorter than 2 characters).

FAQ

  • Which fields are editable?
    First Name, Last Name, Note and Store assignment. Email and Phone are
    read-only after the invite is sent.

  • Can I invite more staff from these screens?
    Yes—use Invite new staff on the main Staff list (mobile or web).

  • What happens when I change a role?
    The app immediately updates the user’s permissions after you confirm
    the warning dialog.
