Modify an existing order

Need to change items before you take payment? Use Modify order to reopen the ticket, adjust it, and resubmit with the same order number.

Prerequisites

  • You’re viewing the Order overview screen for the order you want to change (e.g., opened from My Orders, All Orders or Collect payment).

  • The order has not been paid yet—Modify order only appears before payment.

Step-by-step

  1. Tap Modify order
On the Order overview screen, tap Modify order. The system moves the order to Draft status and loads a pre-filled New order screen where you can edit items.

  2. Open the Basket (optional)
Tap the Basket icon at any time to see the current items and prices. From here you can:

    • increase quantities with +

    • decrease with (or trash can when quantity is 1)

  3. Add or edit items
Browse the menu or Fast-charge tab just as you would when creating a brand-new order. All new selections are added to the draft order automatically.

  4. Submit the changes
When you’re done, open the Basket and tap Submit. The app resubmits the order, keeps the original order number, and returns you to the updated Order overview screen.

Troubleshooting

  • “Modify order” button missing – Confirm you’re on the unpaid Order overview; completed orders don’t allow changes.

  • Trash can not showing – The trash-can icon only appears when an item’s quantity is 1; use to get there first.

  • Left the New order screen by mistake – The order stays in Draft; open it again from My Orders and continue editing.

FAQ

Does modifying create a second order?
No. The original order ID is retained after submission.

Can I modify an order after it’s paid?
Once payment is collected the Modify order option is removed; instead, issue a refund and create a new order if needed.
