Modify an Existing Booking
Need to tweak the date or guest details? You can edit any confirmed or pending reservation from the web-dashboard or the staff mobile app without cancelling the original booking.

Prerequisites
Web Dashboard – Owner, Manager or Staff login with access to Bookings in the side-navigation
Mobile App – Owner, Manager or Staff role with access to the Home › Bookings screen
Step-by-step
Web Dashboard
1. Open the booking
Go to Bookings, then click the reservation you want to change.
2. Edit the necessary fields
Click the pencil icon on the top right of the side panel - You can adjust Date, Time slot, Duration, Party size, guest contact information, and notes.
3. Review the form
As soon as you change something, Save changes button appears at the bottom of the page.(You can also click Cancel booking in the side panel to delete it)
4. Save your updates
Click Save changes. The system validates each field and, if all inputs are valid, saves the booking and keeps you on the details page with the new information applied.
5. Need to back out?
Click anywhere outside of the edit modal instead to discard everything you’ve typed and restore the original details.
Mobile App
1. Open Bookings
From the Home tab, tap Bookings, then pick the reservation card.
2. Update the details
All core fields—date, time slot, duration, party size, and guest contacts—are editable on the Booking details screen.
3. Save or cancel
After editing, tap Confirm at the bottom center to apply, or press the Back arrow to exit without changing anything. Buttons appear automatically when you make a change.
Troubleshooting
Save button stays inactive - Check that every mandatory field is filled and formatted correctly; the system validates inputs before it lets you save.
“Selected duration exceeds opening hours” - Choose a shorter visit length; the app blocks durations that spill past closing time.
Time slot cleared after edits - Changing duration or date resets the slot so you can pick from refreshed availability.
FAQ
Will guests be notified when I edit their booking?
Edits themselves do not trigger a new email or SMS. Guests only receive notifications when a pending booking is confirmed or denied.
Can I archive an old booking instead of deleting it?
Yes. On the details page, use Archive booking to mark a past reservation as inactive without losing its history.
