German owners must complete platform billing before using the rest of the Management Admin App.

Who can do this?

Only the business Owner can start and manage this subscription. This article applies only when the operating market is Germany.

Where to do it

After choosing Germany during owner signup, Tapp opens the billing screen automatically. An owner with incomplete billing is redirected back to billing when attempting to use authenticated app pages.

Complete billing

  1. Review the plan name, price presentation, billing notes and included platform features shown on the screen.
  2. Select Start billing.
  3. Complete the payment-method flow in Stripe’s secure billing page.
  4. Return to Tapp through the success redirect.
  5. Keep the page open while Tapp confirms that billing is complete and refreshes the authenticated session.
  6. When confirmation succeeds, continue into the Management Admin App.
If you cancel the Stripe flow, Tapp returns with a cancellation message and you can start again. If the payment method was accepted but confirmation cannot be observed, use the retry path shown on the billing page rather than creating a second owner account. After a successful redirect, Tapp polls its billing status before refreshing the session. The confirming state disables another start attempt. Treat the backend-confirmed result—not the redirect alone—as evidence that billing is active. If confirmation fails, the page keeps an error visible for recovery.

Platform notes

This is a web-only owner administration flow. Managers, Staff, POS operators and guests cannot bypass the server-side billing gate. Completing billing does not itself complete shop setup, menu setup or identity verification.

The UI describes the German plan as including platform and fiscal-related services. Treat the exact price, trial and commitment terms displayed in the live billing screen as authoritative; they can change independently of this guide.

Troubleshooting

After cancellation, restart from the same billing page. If Stripe returned successfully but Tapp cannot confirm completion, use the page’s retry/recovery state and wait for backend confirmation; do not create a new subscription or owner account speculatively.
