Menu display settings determine which item details are shown in customer-facing offering views. You can independently show or hide images, titles, descriptions, tags, and duration.

Who can do this?

Owners can use this workflow with the scope described here. Write access is checked for the currently selected shop. Backend authorization is authoritative; entering a route directly does not expand a role.

Where

Open Settings for the selected shop and find the Menu section on the main page.

Steps

  1. Review the current switches for images, title, description, tags, and duration.
  2. Enable a field when customers need that information; disable it when the shop wants a simpler presentation.
  3. Use Menu management to ensure every enabled field has accurate item content.
  4. Select Save changes and wait for the form to finish saving.
  5. Open a customer-facing menu to verify the result rather than relying only on the switch state.

Platform notes

The Management Admin App reads and writes one offering-settings record per shop. These switches control display, not the underlying item data: hiding a description does not delete it, and showing images does not create missing images. Changes are store-scoped and protected by settings authorization.

Market notes

The fields are shared across GB and DE. Content itself should be maintained in the language and market context customers need; a display switch cannot translate text or adapt a product description to another market.

Troubleshooting

If nothing appears to change, verify that you saved, selected the intended shop, and checked a surface that consumes the shop’s offering settings. Missing content remains missing when its field is enabled. If saving is rejected, reload the settings and have an Owner retry. Compare one known menu item before and after the change so you can distinguish a display setting from missing source content.
