Create your owner login first. Tapp then verifies your email and phone before asking which market your business operates in.

Who can do this?

This flow creates an Owner account. You do not need an existing shop role. Staff members use the separate staff invitation and signup flow.

Where to do it

Open the Tapp Management Admin App and choose the owner signup option.

Create and verify the account

  1. Enter your first name, last name, email address, date of birth and a password.
  2. Continue. Tapp checks whether the email is already registered before creating the account.
  3. Open the verification message sent to your email and complete email verification.
  4. Return to signup and enter your phone number.
  5. Enter the code sent by text message to verify the phone.
  6. Continue to Select market. Choosing the market is covered separately because it changes the remaining signup path.
If the email is already registered, use the existing account rather than creating another one. If the email check, registration or verification request fails, keep the values you entered and retry from the same step. Return to the same browser flow after each verification. Tapp stores the issued signup tokens and user ID for the remaining steps and uses the server-reported signup state to resolve an interrupted registration.

Platform notes

Owner signup is a web flow in the Management Admin App. Once the account and shop are ready, the same credentials and shop membership are used by Tapp’s management surfaces. Guest ordering does not create an owner account.

Market notes

The personal, email and phone verification steps are shared by Great Britain and Germany. The route changes after market selection: German owners must complete platform billing before entering the app, while the GB path enters the app after signup completion.

Troubleshooting

If an email is already registered, use that account. If a verification request fails, remain in the same signup flow and retry it; do not create a second owner to bypass a missing email or phone confirmation.
