A guest profile brings the store’s relationship with one guest into one view. It combines saved contact data with booking and order activity, without implying that records from other stores belong to the same profile.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers may search and administer guest data. Staff can encounter a navigation link or POS controls, but that does not grant access to the guest APIs.

Where to do it

Use Guests in the Management web app for the directory and profile. The shared guest picker also appears in bookings, walk-in seating, and the POS cart. The Management mobile app provides corresponding list, detail, and picker views.

Steps

  1. Open Guests, locate the person, and select their row.
  2. Read the About card for name, guest ID, phone, and email. Use the call or email controls only when the value is present.
  3. Review order statistics: total orders, total spent by currency, and average rating. Choose the 30-, 90-, or 365-day period for the order view.
  4. Review the bookings table for date, time, party size, and status. Select a booking to open the corresponding Bookings context.
  5. Review the orders table and select an order to open its History details. Confirm status and currency before using totals operationally.

Platform notes

Web and mobile use the same store guest records. The guest web app manages guest identity for its own ordering flows, but it is not a merchant administration surface. Attaching passes a guest ID; it does not copy the profile into the order.

Market notes

The same functionality applies in GB and Germany. Dates, times, and money follow the store market and currency; email and phone values must pass server validation in either market. This reflects the product on 17 July 2026. Guest records are personal data: use only the intended store context, confirm identity before changes, and treat API authorization as binding.

Troubleshooting

  • A missing contact, statistic, booking, or order is shown as empty or a dash; do not substitute guessed data.
  • If a linked booking or order no longer has this guest attached, it may not appear in the profile. Confirm the record in Bookings or History using its ID.
