Profile settings are personal rather than shop-wide. Every signed-in role can review its account details, change the local light-mode preference, and choose English or German for the Management Admin App.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers and Staff can use this workflow with the scope described here. Write access is checked for the currently selected shop. Backend authorization is authoritative; entering a route directly does not expand a role.

Where

Open your account menu in the Management Admin App and choose Profile. Language appears in the Settings section of the profile page.

Steps

  1. Review the displayed name and email so you know which account is active.
  2. Use the English/German selector to change the preferred interface language. The interface updates immediately.
  3. Use Light mode if desired; the theme preference is stored in the browser.
  4. Review the visible profile fields. Treat unsaved editable text cautiously: the current page renders inputs, but no profile-save action is wired in this route.
  5. Use the legal-document rows to open the current Terms or Privacy content when needed.

Platform notes

Language preference is held in the app’s language store and takes priority in the resolver alongside shop context. Theme is local browser state. The displayed Allow notifications toggle is currently local component state on this page; do not treat it as proof that browser or mobile push permission was changed.

Market notes

English and German are available regardless of whether the selected shop is GB or DE. Language changes wording; they do not change shop country, currency, tax rules, billing market, or the content of operational records.

Troubleshooting

If the language reverts, check whether browser storage is available and retry in the same signed-in profile. If dates or currency still look market-specific, that is expected because shop context is separate. Do not assume edited personal text was saved without a confirmed save response.
