Change the dashboard window to compare recent performance consistently. The selected period is applied to the Overview queries and their trend calculations.

Who can do this?

The complete Overview KPIs are available to Owners and Managers. Staff should not rely on a visible Overview link because the API protects parts of this data set.

Where to do it

On Overview, open the period selector near the dashboard heading.

Select a period

  1. Open the current period control.
  2. Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Last 365 days.
  3. Wait for the cards and charts to reload.
  4. Hover a chart point to see its formatted value and date label.
  5. Compare the headline value with the trend displayed for its comparison period.
The dashboard defaults to 30 days. Short periods label sales and orders more granularly; longer periods may group chart labels by week. A trend percentage is a comparison, not a share of total.

KPI interpretation

  • Sales is the revenue series returned for the chosen shop and dates.
  • Orders counts qualifying orders in that window.
  • Average order value divides dashboard revenue by the order count; when there are no orders the UI avoids dividing by zero.
  • Average rating depends on orders that contain rating data.
  • Team and booking sections can have their own empty or loading states.
Use History when you need to reconcile a number with specific orders. Analytics supplies more specialized definitions and quality notes for its own metrics.

Platform and market notes

The selector is a management-web control; it does not change POS or guest filters. Values are formatted in the active shop’s currency and locale. Always verify the selected shop before comparing two locations.

Troubleshooting

If charts and cards disagree while loading, wait until all independent queries finish. For an empty period, confirm shop and dates, then choose a longer supported period; do not infer an API error solely from an empty chart.
