A shop logo makes the location recognizable in shop selectors and connected Tapp experiences. You can preview a replacement before saving or remove an existing custom logo.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers can use this workflow. Permission is always evaluated for the selected shop. A role without write access cannot bypass the restriction by opening a route directly; API authorization remains authoritative.

Where

Open Shop overview, select the intended shop, then choose its circular logo or placeholder at the top of the page. This opens Change shop logo.

Steps

  1. Choose Upload and select a JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, or HEIF image no larger than 100 MB.
  2. Review the local preview. Selecting a file does not publish it immediately.
  3. Choose Save to upload the selected file. To remove a saved custom logo, choose Remove and then save the change.
  4. Close the dialog only after the updated logo appears for the correct shop.

Platform notes

The web dialog validates file extension or MIME type and size before calling the store-logo API. The saved logo URL is part of the shop record and is intended to update across applications, although cached images can take a refresh to appear. Upload and removal require Owner or Manager store access.

Market notes

Logo handling is the same for GB and DE. Do not place market-specific legal, tax, or payment claims in the image; the same asset can appear wherever that shop is represented.

Troubleshooting

An invalid-format or file-too-large message means the selected file failed client validation. Choose a supported file or reduce its size. If saving fails after a valid preview, keep the original file, confirm your role and connection, and retry. Refresh the shop list if the old cached image remains.
