Who can do this?
Owners, Managers and Staff can use voice ordering for their shop when it is enabled and available. An Owner or Manager manages the shop’s voice settings.Where to do it
Open Voice ordering from the mobile app’s home screen. Check the shop. Allow microphone access; if blocked, use Open Settings on your device. Read and close any introductory tips. Reopen Voice ordering tips under Support in Profile settings when available.Dictate the order
- Tap the microphone to start and wait for Listening….
- Say products, quantities and options clearly, such as “Two colas and a pretzel.”
- Say corrections, then check quantities: repeated items with the same option can combine.
- Tap Stop dictating when finished and wait for processing to settle.
- Review each item, quantity, option, note, unit price and total. Spoken Note text is not saved as an item note. Add important instructions as an order note in the basket and check they saved.
Resolve uncertain or missing items
Check Is this right? or “Cola — 0.3 l?”. Choose Confirm only when the existing item and option are correct, or select an alternative. If a swap fails, both items or neither may remain. Check the basket before payment. For Not sure — tap the right one, Which variation? or Sold out — pick a swap, select the intended match and check the resulting basket line. Selecting a suggestion attempts to add one item; adjust its quantity if the customer requested more. The suggestion disappears before the save finishes. If saving fails, check the basket and add the missing item manually. A not added or Needs a choice — add it manually notice means the item is missing from the basket. Dismissing that notice or dismissing suggestions does not add anything. Use Add more items to find and add the correct product manually when necessary. Payment can become available while uncertain suggestions remain. Its availability does not mean every spoken item was added or checked.Make manual corrections
+ and − change quantities; zero removes a line. You can edit while speaking. Changes appear before saving finishes. After an error, a removed line or earlier quantity may return. Wait and check the refreshed basket before retrying. Use the microphone to resume dictating if more is needed. A recording stops at five minutes and can be resumed where offered. If the app says the dictation has reached its length limit, finish with manual edits instead.Continue to payment
After recording and processing finish, choose the payment action and select a method. Opening the method sheet does not itself submit or pay the order. Continuing with a method prepares the order and opens its payment flow. Complete that flow and verify its result. If preparation fails, inspect the current order before trying again. Do not assume a return to the basket means a payment succeeded.Platform notes
If suggestions stop but the transcript works, check and complete the basket manually using the text. Stop dictating and check the final text and basket before leaving or choosing Add more items. Leaving while speech is still processing can lose the final words. Leaving the voice screen does not cancel the order.Market notes
The flow supports Great Britain and Germany. Speak in the shop’s configured capture language and check the displayed currency and total.Troubleshooting
- If the microphone is unavailable, check permission and ask your manager to check the shop setting.
- After an interruption, words still being processed can disappear. Check the remaining text and basket before resuming; repeat only what is missing.
- Contact Tapp support if incorrect or missing items cannot be resolved manually.
