Wingman can ask about patterns in your sales and invite feedback after a promotion has a measured result. Your answers help inform later suggestions. They do not themselves approve a promotion or change a measured result.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers can answer for their shop. Coordinate with other managers before submitting because each question or promotion feedback entry accepts one answer.

Where to do it

Open Wingman in the web app and check the selected shop. Open a question marked Wants your answer, or expand a linked question inside a promotion’s details.

Answer a question

  1. Read the question and all available answer choices.
  2. If its meaning is unclear, type in the question box and use the upward-arrow button (Ask). Wait for the reply before deciding.
  3. Review any text left in the question box. Clear unfinished text that you do not want included with your answer.
  4. Select the answer that best describes the shop. Tapping the choice submits it immediately; there is no separate confirmation.
  5. Check the Answered state and displayed answer.
Your own messages in the conversation, plus any unsent text still in the box, are combined as context when you select an answer, up to 2,000 characters in total. Keep important details near the start; a long conversation may not be saved in full. Asking a question alone does not select an answer. Closing the detail without selecting a choice leaves the question unanswered. Already answered or expired questions cannot be answered again through this screen. If an answer was incorrect, contact Tapp support rather than expecting a second selection to overwrite it. After two follow-up replies in the open conversation, Wingman asks you to choose an answer instead of continuing the discussion. You can still select one of the choices. This reminder has not submitted an answer.

When the assistant cannot reply

If the assistant cannot phrase the question or respond, the provided answer choices can remain available. Read the fallback question carefully and answer only if you understand it. Otherwise, return later. An expired question is no longer open for a response. If a follow-up fails, its text can return to the question box. Review or clear it before selecting an answer, because text left there can still be included. After an answer error, refresh and check the saved state before trying again.

React to a promotion’s result

Open a promotion with a measured result. Read the reported outcome separately from the question about how the promotion felt to you. Choose Happy with it, Not sure or Not happy, add a note if useful and use the send button. Check the note before sending. This records your reaction; it does not rerun, approve or stop the promotion, and it does not change the measurement. Only one feedback entry is accepted for a promotion. After an error, refresh and check whether feedback was already recorded before trying again.

Platform notes

Use the web app for questions and result feedback. The mobile app can show a question card, but tapping it currently does not open an answer view. It also does not offer the result-feedback controls described here. Your answer is shared shop context, not a private personal preference. Use the promotion’s own approval controls if you intend to launch an offer.

Market notes

The flow applies in Great Britain and Germany. Describe the selected shop’s circumstances, especially if you manage shops in several locations.

Troubleshooting

  • Standalone question cards disappear after an answer or expiry. If an expected question is missing while suggestions still appear, refresh Wingman; the questions may not have loaded.
  • If another manager answered first, refresh to see the saved state.
  • If result feedback is unavailable, the promotion may not yet have a measured outcome or may already have feedback.
  • Contact Tapp support if the saved answer or feedback remains unclear.
